WHAT WE DO
In a nut shell, everything we do revolves around our tag line: We make you look good^SM. When you look good, we look good. We specialize in spot and full color (four color process) offset printing, digital color & digital black & white output, creative design, and complete bindery and finishing services. Our site on the web enables us to provide secure online proofing & FTP storage, a simple File Upload interface, and a Get Quote form. We have a devoted Sales staff that can visit you where you work, and offer complete in house mailing services.

OFFSET PRINTING
High speed color laser and inkjet output can offer great savings for shorter runs (500 or less), but when top-quality and a low unit cost is needed, offset printing is still the industry leader. Our presses can handle a sheet size up to 13.5" x 17.6", and uses a 16 roller inking system, enabling smooth reproduction of screens and solids. Its speed capacity is rated for 10,000 sheets per hour. Coupled with our digital ink mixing scale (a measurement device used in the creation of Pantone Spot Inks) and our wide format Epson proofer, traditional offset printing at Apex Press is our number one product.

HI SPEED DIGITAL COLOR LASER
We offer quick turn arounds for digital color, and can print from the PC and Macintosh platforms. Every device in our shop is connected through a 10/100 Base T network for high speed digital production. We can produce brilliant color, and automatic 2-sided printing on text or cover weight paper - as large as 13x19! All color printers are calibrated daily and have been profiled for use in our color management workflow.

COPYING BLACK & WHITE
All our analog and digital machines can produce mass volume at a reduced cost, great first generation halftones, and automatic two-sided printing. We can enable the performance of inline bindery functions on the fly, such as signature imposition, booklet-making, corner stapling, tab printing & insertion. Our Xerox 2515 Engineering copier can duplicate a sheet size as wide as 36 inches by 9 feet (black and white).

We can duplicate 1-2 sided on sheet sizes as large as 12x18 and as small as 5.5x8.5. We can print on various uncommon paper sizes and on a wide variety of specialty stocks. Our paper selection will give you a variety of choices to help you match the best stock for your order.

POSTERS
Poster technology is growing fast, and becoming more affordable. We can prepare any file type, PC or Mac, Adobe or Microsoft, for poster output. As large as 50 inches by 9 feet, on gloss, matte, canvas, tyvek, and more. We can mount on foamcore, sintra, gator board or poster board, and then laminate your poster, or simply spray it for protection against moisture. As a final finishing technique we can even frame it! The color fidelity and saturation makes your artwork jump! If you need a little convincing, take a shop tour. We can spice up your documents and provide color correction as needed. There is no limit to what we can put together for you!

GRAPHIC DESIGN
We're not just another output printshop. We offer a talented creative design department with extensive experience both in prepress and commercial design communications. We can assist you in “thinking visually” and prepare printed artwork that makes you look good. What separates us even from creative advertising and design firms is our ability to design a piece that prints the way we intended it to print. No surprising color shifts, no additional charges to fix files - just good start to finish design that looks great.

When it comes to mailing solutions, no one beats Apex Press. This added services expedites your mailing objectives and keeps costs down. Even after the advent of email, direct mail solicitations are still in high demand and we have invested in this technology. We can clean up your database files, print variable mail data on letters, envelopes and post cards, collate & fold, stuff and seal, and send the product directly to the post office!
